Site Visual Design
The text size for content text uses xx-small, x-small, small, medium, large, x-large, xx-large, rather than point sizes or percentages. Our testing has shown that percent based font sizes can cause errors on Macintosh browsers. Set fonts sizes (such as 10pt), which would override your own preferred browser settings, are not used.
All web pages in our web site detect the type of browser you are using to display the web page appropriately for your browser. Separate style sheets are used for Netscape and Internet Explorer Browsers.
The ILC website will look best using Netscape Navigator 4.75 and above, or and Internet Explorer 4.0 and above with default settings. The site should be navigable with other browsers, such as text browsers and those with smaller screens. When using browsers other than those recommended, some settings may need to be changed and, in some cases, graphics or text may not align properly and some functions may not work properly or may be slower.
